First joint site Christmas Fair heralded a great sucess and lots of fun - Tue 03 Dec 2013

The first Greenleas School joint site Christmas Fair was held on Saturday 30th November. Head teacher Katie Garricques heralded the event as a wonderful success and lots of fun. The children, parents, carers, grandparents and staff attending all had a wonderful time, a testimony to the hard work of the Greenleas PTA run by Lara Bradford and a wonderful team of hardworking parents and carers

Father Christmas dropped in on the school and was seen in conversation with Mrs Garricques, who rumour has it was discussing the naughty and nice list, but everyone was extremely pleased to see that all the children that visited him in his special grotto were on his nice list.

A tiny doorway led to the, children's only, Secrets Room where the pupils were able to select Christmas presents for their loved ones assisted by Santa's helper elves.

Fun games with lots of prizes were enjoyed by the children and stalls selling Christmas goodies were very popular with the grown-up visitors.

Everyone enjoyed Christmas carols sung by the choir and munched a record number of mince pies. Merry Christmas from everyone at Greenleas School.
